• Initial 3-month probationary period
• Attendance of all regular church meetings 
• Attendance of all special church functions as they relate to the FBCS Choir 
• Attendance of all FBCS Choir related activities
• Any other time as required to fulfill the duties of the Music Director/Worship Leader of the FBCS Choir (i.e., external services)

Qualifications:  

• Called by God to Minister to the Church as a Music Director/Worship Leader
• Proficient in reading music
• Three – Five years’ experience teaching multiple choir formats
• Bachelor of Music and Master of Music is preferred
• Person of Character and Integrity
• Ability to lead the FBCS band
• Willingness to participate and prepare music that is spiritual and educational for the FBCS church as a whole

Responsibilities:

• To meet with the Pastor of FBCS on a regular basis
• To work collaboratively with the FBCS Choir President
• To work collaboratively with the Audio/Media Ministry
• To be diligent and on time for all FBCS Choir rehearsals (i.e., Saturday)
• To lead the FBCS Choir and direct music 
• Be available for special services (i.e., revival and funerals)
• Submit quarterly reports for church business meetings
• Submit Budget Forecast for upcoming Fiscal Year (annually)
• Complete FBCS Orientation training (4-week)
• All activities/services must be FBCS related unless approved by the FBCS Pastor

Compensation:  Rate of compensation will be based on experience and education and shall be within the framework of the church budget.

• The salary will be in the range of $18k – $20K per year based on experience
• The paid vacation will be according to the guidelines as set up by the personnel committee (i.e., 1-3 years = 2 Sundays; 4-8 years = 3 Sundays; 9 years = 4 Sundays; and 10 years = 5 Sundays not taken consecutively
• All paid vacation needs to be submitted a minimum of two Sundays in advance
